Article VI Kentucky Angus Sweepstakes Show and Sale

SECTION C:

Existing Rules and Regulations:
3) The animal must be recorded in the ownership of a Kentucky breeder on or before and continuously since December 1 of the prior year to the current Sweepstakes Show and Sale.

Approved change:
3) The animal must be recorded in the ownership of a Kentucky breeder on or before and continuously since July 1 of the prior year to the current Sweepstakes Show and Sale and have a registration paper issue date of August 1 of prior year.

Existing Rules and Regulations:
4) Any Angus of which the sire is either owned by a Kentucky member or was bred by a Kentucky member.

4) Delete this entire statement

SECTION F:

Existing Rules and Regulations:
Any deduction...shall include $20 for each consignor who has not previously, during the current year, paid the annual dues as a member of the Kentucky Angus Breeders Association.

Approved change:
Any deduction...shall include current dues for each consignor who has not previously, during the current year, paid the annual dues as a member of the Kentucky Angus Association.

The recommended changes were adopted and unanimously approved in a special called general membership meeting on June 7, 2008, in Bowling Green, KY.
